These youth protection software programs are managed by the JusProgManager
Youth protection software consists of apps or software solutions that protect children and adolescents on smartphones, tablets, notebooks, or other desktop computers from dangers on the internet. Simply put: while the child is surfing, it is continuously checked in the background whether they are allowed to view the website being accessed, or whether it should be blocked for their age group.
Furthermore, youth protection software often includes a time control feature, allowing parents to specify the time periods during which their child is permitted to be online and for how long.
JusProg youth protection software is free of charge and without advertising for private use, similar to the JusProgManager. Schools and organizations pay a small administrative fee.
These youth protection software programs can be paired with the JusProgManager:
JusProgNET for Windows
The classic among youth protection software and particularly important when it comes to significant risks from images and videos on a large monitor – because a violent scene is simply more disturbing on a large screen than on a small smartphone, even though it should ideally be blocked on both devices.
JusProgNET runs on Windows 11 and Windows 10. In addition to the surf filter, JusProgNET also has time control integrated.

JusProg App for smartphones and tablets with android
The JusProg app for smartphones and tablets with the Android operating system filters web traffic via an integrated VPN within the device. Your child can continue to use their favorite browser; the filtering takes place effectively and quickly in the background.
As with all other JusProg youth protection software, website filtering is based on a combination of the JusProg filter list and the lists from the child search engine fragFINN (always allowed) and the BPjM ban list (always blocked) of the Federal Agency for Child and Youth Protection (BzKJ). The provider identifiers age.xml and age-de.xml are also taken into account, and websites unknown to the system are subjected to an OTF quick check, which you can configure via the JusProgManager.
All youth protection software from JusProg can set YouTube, Google, Bing and some other large portals to the so-called “Safe Mode” (SafeSearch), in which the providers themselves filter out content unsuitable for minors. This setting can also be configured via the JusProgManager.
Time control and control of allowed apps are being prepared for the Android app.

JusProg App for iPhones and iPads (iOS)
The JusProg app for smartphones and tablets with iOS operating system is based on a protected JusProg browser; device-wide filtering is not technically possible with Apple. However, you can use the settings to disable, for example, the iOS-typical Safari browser, so that your child can surf safely with the JusProg app for iOS.
In addition to the filtering functions and security features common to other JusProg youth protection software (Safemode for YouTube, Google, Bing, etc.), JusProg for iOS also offers child-friendly browser features such as the integrated fragFINN search engine for children and recommended favorite sites.
The JusProg iOS app also has a time control integrated.
