Privacy Policy for JusProgManager

The protection of your data and especially the data of your children is particularly important to us as a non-profit and committed association.

The DSGVO (international: GDPR) is an EU regulation that governs the handling of personal data. To the best of our knowledge and within the framework of the regulations for organisations of our size, we naturally observe all the provisions of the regulation.

The JusProgManager is a parent application with which parents and other persons entrusted with the upbringing and care of children can make settings on children’s devices on which a JusProg youth protection programme is installed and which have been connected (paired) with the JusProgManager. Without this pairing process, which must be carried out by parents (app administrators), no data is exchanged between the parental control programmes and the JusProgManager.

Naturally, the functions of the JusProgManager cannot work without data exchange with the youth protection programmes. The data exchange is encrypted (SSL) and additionally secured via a token system. Data exchange is governed by the principle of data economy.

Essentially, this data is exchanged between JusProgManager and connected youth protection programmes on the children’s devices:

  • When pairing, the pairing code from the JusProgManager parent area.
  • Information on children’s accounts and their settings
  • Information on parent accounts and their settings
  • If time control is activated, information about time quotas and used quotas.
  • Messages between parents and children in Messenger, supplemented by pictures and other files and by prepared requests (e.g. additional activation of websites, time bonus for surfing).
  • Information on apps used / installed (only some parental control programmes).
  • The IP addresses of the devices involved, without which the data traffic is technically not possible.

The JusProgManager requires parents and other adults to register with jusprog-manager.com in order to function. In this process, the user name, email address, passwords and, for security reasons, organisation name, telephone number and birthday are requested and stored. Children do not have to log in to JusProgManager. The JusProgManager must be accessed in encrypted form (SSL).

Part of the JusProgManager are system messages, which are sent either by mail or by push news.

The server-side application JusProgManager is hosted and administered in a data centre in Germany.

We use all data exclusively for the functionality and quality of the JusProgManager and the associated youth protection programmes. Beyond that, we do not give any data to third parties. The JusProg applications do not contain commercial advertising.

This privacy statement refers to the JusProgManager parent application. For the connected (paired) devices, the respective privacy statements of the JusProg parental control programmes must be observed, which can be reached via the following links:
